CHEESE NOTES

High-res Rush Creek Reserve — Uplands brilliant American version of Vacherin Mont d’Or, one of my Fall favorites in the bark-wrapped category and current Culture cover girl — in all its gooey glory, accompanied by another Uplands cheese, Pleasant Ridge Reserve, Bianca from Hawthorne Valley Farm and Lambchopper from Cypress Grove (not pictured). All were lovely but the Rush Creek looked like it had been strip-mined by the time the cheese vultures were done with it (ie it was quite popular).
