Plate The Slate is an ongoing series profiling some of our favorite chefs, mongers, and producers, and the creative ways in which they use our slate in their establishments and beyond.
The photos above are from their profile of City Tavern. They’ve also covered Beecher’s and Barboncino, among others, always with great interviews and gorgeous photography.
(And yes, it’s true, you can see Brooklyn Slate boards on, like, 90% of the photographs on this site; almost every shot of a wedge of cheese was taken on one of their slates, so I may be a wee bit biased).
